Aluminum sheet with gloss, black baked-on finish, is covered with a protective clear plastic film.
Our standard aluminum sheet is 0.024 inches thick, with gloss black finish on the front and a gloss white finish on the back, giving this material a clean, finished, professional look. The front side is covered with a protective plastic sheet that must be removed prior to applying collodion.
Finished plate dimensions are undersized by 0.020 inches in both width and length to provide a little wiggle room and allow an easy fit within the plate holder. Please keep this in mind when ordering custom plate dimensions. Each package contains 25 sheets.
