Traveling Tank, 12x14
Features a single piece polyethylend lid with a compressible foam gasket and stainless steel draw latches that greatly reduces the likelihood of spills while traveling from location to location,
I know, I know... 12x14? Isn't that an odd size? My original aim was for 11x14, but there's a good number of folks who are shooting 12 x 12 and it seemed silly not to build this tank in a way that would accommodate both formats.
This model has some significant improvements over the smaller versions. It's constructed of 3/16 inch black acrylic and stainless steel fixturing that won't corrode. It will accommodate plates 12x14 or smaller and has an internal thickness of 0.75 inch. It features a single piece polyethylend lid with a compressible foam gasket and stainless steel draw latches that greatly reduces the likelihood of spills while traveling from location to location, and a stainless steel support stand with solid aluminum mounting brackets.
The hanger/paddle option is integral to the lid and is available as either stainless steel rods (shown in the photos) which are adjustable in 1 inch increments from a maximum width of 10 inches to a minimum of 2 inch, or as a plexi paddle (photo shown in the traveling tanks and accessories category) which covers the width of the tank.
The internal dimensions of the tank are 15 x 13.5 x 0.75 inches for a fluid capacity of approximately 2.5 liters. A collapsible, hinged support holds the tank at a convenient angle for loading and unloading plates, yet folds flat against the tank for storage and travel.
The silver tank is light tight and requires no external dark box.
Shipping for our larger tanks includes special crating to insure your tanks arrive in the best possible condition.
